Open Enrollment is an opportunity for each student who resides permanently within the boundaries of Sacramento City Unified School District to apply for enrollment for schools (Grades K-8) within the district, when space is available.
Parents may enroll at Umoja beginning on August 14 and end on September 11, 2023.
Do not submit original documents, only copies can be accepted
If language support is needed families can come directly to the Enrollment Center 5601 47th Ave, and receive support from the MOC.
They can also use the district’s main phone line to leave a message in their native language, (916-643-7400) and someone from the MOC will contact them.

o Fridays (Starting on August 25, 2023) In person support desk will be 8AM to 11AM

Applying for High School Specialty Programs
The High School Specialty Program Application is an opportunity for each student who resides permanently within the boundaries of the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) to apply for enrollment in a SCUSD high school specialty program, based on space availability. SCUSD offers specialty programs at both our neighborhood and small specialized high schools.
